Feral Fang Firings

Effortlessly elegant porcelain, handmade in the Hudson Valley

Handmade horsehair raku ceramic pots by Feral Fang Firings

The Work

From richly marbled glaze bowls to delicate colored marble pieces, each collection has its own character and palette. Refined, tactile, and made to be lived with.

The Collections

Each piece is thrown on the wheel and fired in the Hudson Valley. No two are ever quite the same — the flame, the horsehair, the glaze each leave their own unique mark, a record of that particular moment in time.

Wheel-thrown porcelain by Feral Fang Firings

Made by Hand

Every piece begins on the wheel — thin walls pulled from a lump of porcelain, shaped by hand in the Hudson Valley. The road here passed through Shanghai, New York, and finally Upstate, each place leaving its mark, the way horsehair leaves its mark on a raku pot fresh from the fire.
