Came into the front room to find Fang wrapped around his carrot…. 😂😂😂

A little later…. 🥕🧡

I made chicken and gave Fang the big bones. Upside to having a toothless cat is you never have to worry about them shattering a chicken bone and hurting themselves…. 🤣🤣🤣 #silverlining

I like to think this makes him feel like a real cat again…. #poorbuddy

Fang’s claws are getting out of control, the last (and only) time they’ve ever been clipped is when they knocked him out to remove his teeth 4 months ago. I’ve let it go as long as I could but he’s starting to get stuck on his scratching post so it’s time…. I’ve tried a couple of times already but no go so I brought out the ol’ tuna fish…

Final score? Me: 7 clips – 4 on one hand, 3 on the other. Fang: 2 scratches – 1 wrist, one leg. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

The little lunatic finally got into his sofa cat bed with me on the sofa! Sound on, listen to the purr….

Right now he’s playing up a storm with his zillion cat toys… of course the second I look at him, he stops so no video 😂. So far, I’ve learned he likes the 🐁-shaped ones… and the 🥕… and the 🍆… 🤣🤣🤣

Fang has started coming up to me when I’m reading on the sofa and demanding pets from me by jamming his head into my outstretched hand… I know I’m going to live to regret encouraging this but it’s so hilarious, I do it…

You know those horror films where the protagonist thinks they’re alonein the house but when they look up, a scary doll on the shelf across the room is suddenly halfway closer to them, then they look away and back again and the doll is pretty much upon them? That’s what making dinner with Fang is like. He’s nowhere to seen but once I start cooking, boom. I have a stalker.

Huge progress today, the little lunatic came over to me (lying on the sofa) to get pets. Then, he jumped up onto the sofa with me! I got a couple of pets in before he realized what he’d done, freaked out and kinda jumped/kinda fell off the sofa… 😂

Fang decided to come help me build a cheese press today….

when I’m sitting on the sofa doing nothing, he stays halfway across the room. The second I start doing something on the floor, he’s all over me… we’ll see how he feels when the drill comes out… 😂😂😂

Another first today! Fang came over to me while I was on the sofa and demanded pets… we’re a long way from there but I think he’s going to be a lap kitty someday!

This is how he’s sleeping right now… on his scratching post, NEXT TO his bed…
